The economy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has declined in the last three years and Vincentians should expect a fourth year of economic decline, as 2011 showed no signs of economic growth.

The economy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has declined in the last three years and Vincentians should expect a fourth year of economic decline, as 2011 showed no signs of economic growth.

Speaking on the NewTimes programme yesterday, Parliamentary Representative the Hon. Godwin Friday said as the economy declines, people’s circumstances has declined as well and this cannot be disputed.

Friday said that talks by the government that Vincentians are better off is absolute nonsense, as most Vincentians are struggling to survive and keep their head above water.
